Our newest method of producing characters is to carve EPS foam blocks (the same foam used to shape surf boards) using a computer controlled milling machine.  Just about any shape imaginable can be created using this method.

The foam is sanded smooth, sprayed with polyurea for exceptional strength and durability, and then hand painted for the desired realistic or statuesque look.
