A key element of the Memphis Botanic Garden’s “My Big Backyard” project, we built and installed two large tree houses connected by an elevated rope swing bridge. The largest “Birdhouse” is 300 sqft and over 36’ tall and is placed upon a giant 10’ diameter Sequoia log. Protruding from the top of the clubhouse is a perch featuring a large bluebird sculpted out of foam and hard coated with polyurea. The other clubhouse includes a turbo spiral slide and has a wonderful view of the “Backyard” project. Due to the immense size of the structures, most of the fabrication occurred onsite over a three week period.
