The Neptune's Trident is one of the grandest pirate ship tree houses we've ever had the pleasure of building. It's the most comprehensive residential project we've ever undertaken!
This massive pirate play set is broken into two sections: the bow and the stern. The bow is adorned with a 5' foam carved mermaid and features several cannon doors, thatch roofing, and sits atop an enormous 14' diameter old growth redwood log! The log was so huge that it required a wide load permit to make its way across the country to its final home in Florida. On either side of the log entry you'll find a hand carved tiki totem carving waiting to greet you.
The bow is connected to the stern via an elaborate series of elevated walkways. Standing over 30' tall and featuring three different levels, the stern is a magnificent play space in and of itself. On the first level you'll find the sleeping quarters complete with built in bunk beds and cannon ports. The captain's quarters is located on the second floor and is truly stunning! Featuring built-in bench seating, wrap around hand made stained glass windows, and a fiber optic map of the solar system on the ceiling complete with constellations, this second level is absolutely breathtaking! In addition, both the first and second levels are climate controlled and include electrical throughout. The third and final level is the flight bridge where you'll find the captain's wheel, 6' tall walls, and aft lighting.
The entire stern is adorned with elaborate trim and scrolls. We topped it off with some skulls, bones, a giant lion head crest, and two enormous foam carvings of Neptune and Poseidon!
And of course no pirate ship would be complete without a captain and crew. There are actually 14 pirate carvings along with a pig, mule, goat, buzzard, parrot, and several pelicans and seagulls (all of which are carved from foam). We even threw in a 10' spiral slide, custom decking, and a few water cannons for added fun.
