We built this play structure for Idlewild and SoakZone, an amusement park located in Ligonier, PA. We started by carving a pass-through into a giant eucalyptus log measuring over 8' in diameter. We placed a hexagonal shaped platform on top and covered it with a circular thatched roof. On either side of the platform is a turbo spiral slide. The rear of the platform features a 12' swing bridge which bounces and rolls when kids run over it. Another small covered platform with a bent roof, cedar shingles, and lodge pole supports is attached in the back. This play structure allows for a high-volume of traffic and is ADA and ASTM compliant.
