Job Description:

Daniels Wood Land, Inc (DWL) is seeking a highly-motivated Theming Production Designer who will have direct responsibility for the successful design, implementation and completion of development, production and operating processes for DWL theming projects. The successful candidate will have experience and a demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction and make decisions with minimal to no supervision. He/she will be very independent and able to recognize opportunities for DWL and involve the appropriate internal and external personnel at the right times to complement the project.

Job Responsibilities:

• Leads the Production Team to ensure the "client’s" and DWL’s needs are met with the appropriate balance between the economic and the creative elements.
• Works with clients to develop project design and budget.
• Oversees the creation and manipulation of budgets, timelines, logistics and scope of the project.
• Acts as the official project spokesperson for the project with outside clients and vendors.
• Assumes accountability for delivering the creative vision at the agreed-upon price, as well as design and engineer the operating parameters concerning operational, safety, worker and client experiences

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts or associate’s degree and equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of ten years of professional experience in production.
• Strong contract management experience.
• Ability to develop and oversee budgets and scheduled for projects of all sizes.
• Demonstrated team-building experience.
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced, high-pressure environment with many tasks requiring constant diligence, changing priorities and quick adaptations to very tight deadlines.
• Positive attitude and high level of self-motivation.
• Creative sensibility.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to solve business and creative problems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups of people.
• Strong administrative, leadership and coaching skills; ability to promote creativity, cooperation and teamwork among subordinates.
