Country Cottage Down to Earth
It's a cleverly simple playhouse you can install in about 30 minutes on flat ground. You'll love the slightly crooked windows, and gently swayed roof. It breaks down and stacks on a pallet, and is incredibly simple to install. It comes unfinished so you and your family can save costs and enjoy finishing it together. It's built from redwood and cedarƒ the best wood mother nature provides. It's perfect for the youngest toddler, slimmest budget, and most difficult to access play area.

Country Cottage High Water
The high water version starts with the same Play fort as above, and we elevate it on a 3' tall platform, and add a small stair case. It comes unfinished so you and your family can save costs and enjoy finishing it together. Installs in about 2 hours with no heavy equipment and minimal site prep, it's a fantastic way to save big money on site prep, installation and shipping costs over our much more ambitious Play forts. You can add a curved scoop slide.

Country Cottage Tree Top
The Tree Top Version is by far the best value for the money spent. We take the same Tudor Cottage Play fort, and set it on top of one of our oversize Play fort logs. From there we add a roof dormer, balcony, staircase, monkey bars, log window, spiral slide and more. Because this model breaks down and consolidates better on a truck, shipping is half the cost of our other similar sized Play forts. You can also install it on a packed gravel pad instead of a concrete one! The log weighs several thousand pounds, so you'll still have the need for a rented forklift or crane. Just like above, it comes unfinished so you and your family can save costs and enjoy finishing it together. All in all this is a great Play fort and customers will save an average of about $8000 over our other similar Play forts. The savings are spread over price, shipping, site prep, and installation. That's rightƒ we were thinkin' mighty thrifty thoughts when we came up with this model. It's faster and cheaper to build ship and install, so we're passing the savings on to you! There is one catch... we're only committed to test marketing a total of 10 units. So when they're gone, depending on feedback, they may be gone forever!

Billy's Barn
This octagonal white barn Play fort resembles the old barn house it sits next to. Rain (like in these pics) or shine, Billy's Barn custom treehouse is just the place to kick back and take it slow. It's where kids can act like kids, and adults can too.

Builder Bears
Join our mascots Sam and Bubba along with a few friends on a whimsical Play fort building party! These guys are working overtime trying to get this ultimate Play fort ready before all of their buddies show up! Sam is rearin' back and swinging the big mallet while Bubba's wincin' and holding the nail and hoping not to get hit (again)! Chip is holding up the swing waiting for his ole' pal Chuck as he's diggin' in the barrel for some more nails. All the while the whole shootin' match is teetering on an old stack of crates and barrels.

Critter Corner
Critters abound! The Critter Corner Play fort is just bursting with character (or should we say characters). This crazy assortment of critters and creatures is sure to add an extra spark of fun to any family treehouse. Childrens imaginations spring to life amongst this playful critter crew, and the faux tree branches and chimney top it off to create the perfect wooden outdoor play set.

Haunted Hideout
Who dares enter the Haunted Hideout? Theming Play forts is always fun and this one was no exception. This Victorian mansion custom Play fort features a weather vane, coffin style door, a secret sliding bookshelf that reveals a ladder leading up the chimney and into the upstairs room!

La Jolla Lighthouse
This amazing kids play house is located in La Jolla, CA.(Pronounced La Hoya like Oscar De) This La Jolla Playhouse features a 8' X 8' Play fort and a 14' diameter catwalk that wraps around the Play fort! The hollow log was big enough to be its own playhouse with it's 4'x4' floor! It overlooks the ocean in La Jolla, so we gave it a bit of a nautical feel. It also features a steel spiral staircase and a rope and pulley system so the kids can lift their toys and snacks up to the second story! Playground components include monkey bars, 3 swings and a spiral slide.

Mayberry Manor
We've got an amazing octagonal shaped custom Play fort in stock and ready to ship. This house is 8' in diameter, has a bunk-bed loft, octagonal tower, left side balcony and custom made stained glass windows. We can paint it any color scheme you want, or with a little more customization, create an awesome kids paly house haunted mansion!

Redneck Retreat
Here's our idea of a Victorian farm themed tree playhouse. We woke up feelin' a little frisky the day we came up with this treehouse design... heck, why not put a truck up on a log. Makes sense to us! The hand made, stained glass windows add a great touch as well. The back of the stake bed truck serves as a balcony. The kids can climb on though the back of the truck cab, and into the driver's seat for a trip of the imagination! The custom play house is fit for a square dancin' shindig with it's 8'x8' floor!

Rose Parade
Several years ago, John Daniels was approached by a potential client at a trade show to build 2 Play forts that were bridged together. John asked the customer to come back in 15 minutes to see a napkin sketch of what they were talking about. The customer loved the drawing, bought the Play fort, and we filed the sketch away. 2 years later, a Rose Parade float designer (and customer of ours) was approached by The Home Depot to design a Rose Parade float. Upon hearing their design goals, she immediately thought of our Play forts. We met a few days later and looked over our past Play fort concept sketches. Within a few moments she spotted that same 2 year old napkin sketch and knew that's what The Home Depot wanted. She reproduced the exact drawing, added some landscape and some colors and pitched it to The Home Depot. Without hesitation, they gave their approval. The final float won the Rose Parade’s Grand Marshall Trophy for the “Most Creative Design of the Year.” It’s interesting to know that the “most creative design” came from a whim and a napkin sketch during 15 short minutes of creativity from our founder, John Daniels.

Makeover
Six years ago Ken and Doreen Silva became foster parents for the first time, thus began the beginning of a long rewarding journey that lay ahead of them. Within a few years they opened their home to over a dozen children, some with special needs and disorders, and adopted three boys. They still continue to foster others and have made it their mission to try and find a home for every child abandoned without a home in the Rhode Island foster care system. The Silva's one salary income from Ken's employment as a garbage truck driver has put all of their financial resources towards raising their children. Recently, the Silvas were shocked to learn that their children tested positive for having high levels of lead in their system. Upon investigation, they discovered that their home contained dangerous levels of lead throughout the home and the backyard. With their limited resources, the Silvas tried to fix the areas of concern but the cosmetic improvements they made did not even begin to resolve the problem at hand. The Health Department informed the Silvas that they may take the foster children out of the home if they did not remedy the problem. Daniels Wood Land was asked to create the FUN in the backyard for the kids. The main question was what are the main interests of all these boys? We found out that Ken Silva also works at Seekonk Speedway on the track crew where he used to race cars. So we built an original Play fort with steps, deck, and monkey bars. We wanted to incorporate a car into this unique outdoor play fort but we were limited to space in the backyard. That didn't stop us we put the car in anyway! With a whole pit crew!

Typhoon Tiki
Only the strongest can survive on this desert island so we must build a Tiki Hut playhouse out of our wrecked pirate ship until the weather lets up. When it does, we'll build a raft from that Play fort that will take us far away from this terrible island and back into the living room for some much needed TV and popcorn. That was fun!

Walswick Makeover
When Martha Walswick lost her husband following a three-year fight with cancer, this brave woman told her nine children, ages four to 21 years old, that they needed to pull together for what she called their "new adventure." Daniels Wood Land was contacted and we were asked to help. We jumped in and created this amazing treehouse, carvings and stage in less than a week. We built an Original Play fort on an amazing log with an additional ground level Play fort. Added to that a an extended balcony and slide, wooden stage capped with 2 custom wood bear carvings. DWL is proud to have been part of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and our part we played in helping the Walswick family
