Heckling Characters
A DWL heckling character spices up the shooting gallery experience. We use theme relevant designs to create characters to attract new players, tease current players, tell jokes and entertain onlookers. They might be a little ornery, or really funny, but they're always entertaining! A heckling character can be just about anything, including a fox, goat, crow, farmer, buzzard, trash can, or even an old truck. Each heckler has multiple movements, and professional voice characterizations.
Rotating Target Shows
In its simplest form, every target responds to a hit from a player with some kind of movement and sound effect. We call that response a "show." Our exclusive electronics take things a bit further by allowing us to create several different shows for each target. This way every time a player shoots a target, they get to see something different. For instance a target might run like this:
Multi-Action Targets

Traditionally, shooting gallery makers have always built targets that are limited to 1 single motion, with 1 motion cycle only (up, down, done; or left, right, done.) Our target controllers were designed to be interactive animatronic controllers that give us the capability to build targets with several motions, or "actions."
This allows us to create a Heckling Fox with 5 actions, or dancing ducks with 4 independent actions, or a talking 1942 Chevrolet Pickup truck with 12 actions!!! Our proprietary electronics give us the ability to create exciting, interactive entertainment.
Quick-Shot Challenge
The DWL quick shot challenge is a game within a game. It's a group of hidden targets that are activated by hitting the start target. Depending on where they're hidden, the hidden targets randomly pop up, out, or down for a few moments before hiding again. Players have to aim true and shoot quick to hit them all! The quick shot challenge's ultimate purpose is to make players feel they can do better with more practice.
Attract Mode
"How can we attract MORE PLAYERS to play over and over again?" The answer is simple: attract mode. When the gallery is idle, it plays itself! The squeaky wheel gets greased and the noisy shooting gallery gets played. Attract mode EARNS YOU MORE MONEY! This has been a proven concept in video games and jukeboxes for decades. DWL is the only shooting gallery manufacturer to offer this feature!
Self Redemption
DWL Galleries have the ability to dispense prizes. When a shooter reaches a winning score, the system can dispense a prize. Our dispensers are steel constructed and built to last. They include an anti-jam system, and prize dispensing sensors. If they do not detect a prize, they will report and error alerting that the prizes are either out or assistance is needed.
Bonus Pricing Structure

To encourage people to play our galleries multiple times, our electronics let you set a bonus pricing structure. For example, you may want to offer 1 game for $2, or 3 games for $5. Testing has shown that players choose the better value, higher overall cost option as much as 85% of the time! This EXCLUSIVE feature drives revenue to never before seen levels.
2 Ways to Play
A player can choose 18 shots with plenty of time, or 1 minute with unlimited shots. This feature, coupled with the bonus pricing structure causes most players to decide right from the beginning they intend to play several games!
