This faux tree play structure was built for the David Barton Gym in Bellevue, WA. They wanted to create an child friendly environment where the kids could play while their parents worked out. This structure includes a large 12' diameter tree with tunnels and decks cut through for the kids to run and explore. One end features a climbing wall with rock style grips and the other is a fireman's pole. The tree was constructed of EPS foam with polyurea bark applied. Since we pull our bark from molds taken from real trees, the detail is amazing. You can even see acorns planted in the tree by squirrels and holes left from woodpeckers. The main play structure is redwood and cedar construction and is extremely durable and long lasting. We even built a smaller tree that conceals a media cabinet inside. This is the perfect way to bring an outdoor play area indoors and create an atmosphere kids will love!
