1. What's the difference between Standard Tree House Packages, Custom Configurations, and Custom Tree Houses?
Our Standard Packages have been developed from the most popluar requests our customers have made over the years. Most of our orders start with a standard package, and end with a few uprgrades (like an oversize log, oversize clubhouse, stair case, and a talk tube).
Custom Configurations of our standard tree houses allow our customers to adjust the tree house "footprints" to fit into a unique space. You can also connect several tree houses with a network of bridges and walkways, then add a whole slew of play activities... including swings, monkey bars, slides, talk tubes, climbing nets, rock walls, and more. You can also add in some of our whimsical critters to bring life to your tree house playground. The main idea behind the custom configurations is that they're primarily built using our standard tree house components. By utilizing these standard components, you get the most play for your dollar spent.
Our Custom Tree Houses are completely unique creations. About the only thing they have in common is the fact that they're tree houses (with or without a tree...its up to you). Custom tree house customers may modify a previous custom order, or start with a completley blank canvas.

2. How do I get a custom tree house?
Take a look at the custom tree houses on our web site. Think about what designs you like, whats in them you want, what your budget may be, how big your play area is, and how many kids you want to occupy. You can order a modified version of one of our past designs, or we can work with you to start with a blank canvas and come up with something entirely new. The most important thing is to gather a few thoughts, and give us a call. You'll be talking to one of our experts in no time.

3. What's the lead time for a custom tree house?
Custom tree houses can take from 8 weeks for simpler ones, and 1 year + for the most elaborate ones.

|
4. What kind of logs do you use?
We use all kinds of logs- like pine, oak , eucalyptus, and redwood. One of the main reasons why customers choose a custom tree house is that they want a very special log, like one of our giant redwood logs that may be 14' in diameter, weight 45,000 pounds, and be almost 2000 years old.

5. Can I get a drawing of a custom configuration?
We do provide site plans and estimates free of charge. If you want to spend more resources to get sketches, colored renderings, or 3D plans, we offer those services at a fee of $85 per hour. Many of our cusotmers find this money to be well spent because by investing in more carefull planning, they're able to get the most perfect tree house for their budget, and family's needs.

6. Can I get electricity in my tree house?
Yes. We can accommodate electrical needs using local electricians. If your tree house is pre-wired, you will still need to have an electrician finish the wiring once your tree house is fully installed.

8. What types of relics can I get with my tree house?

No. In fact, we need you to retract question 9. It vaguely resembles a silly question, and that's just not allowed on this page. |
